Where did you use to go with daddy? ", Noran, 6, asks her sisters whenever her father is mentioned at home.
She was aged only six month when her father, journalist Tawfeek Almansory, was abducted by Houthis five years ago
Noram always wants her sisters, Tawakul and Kawther, to tell about every moment they spent with their father. Her little memory keeps no vivid image of her father. She can't remember his full-of-love touch or hug
Unlike her sisters, Noran has no memories with her dad, so she keeps asking for more about him when they recall their old times sadly
Five years have passed and Noran still can't hug her abducted father. She has no chance to go out to the market or park with her dad as her sisters have. She didn't have a moment to hold on her father's hand and refuse to go before he goes to work and he would hug and kiss her affectionately as he did with her sisters. Noran feels not as lucky as her sisters.
She has been waiting for five years for her detained father so she begins her early years again with him, and fill herself from his love and passion
"when dad is released from prisons, he would take me everywhere", Noran tells her sisters. I would play with him more than you"
Wadah, Tawfeek's brother, says they have suffered a lot for five years. "our voice gets weak and our wailing increased. We endure pain and suffering above our shoulder
.He says every time they become optimistic for his brother's release, Houthis surprise them with new unjust, deceptive behavior
" They ( Houthis) have mounted against us the most aggressive violence. Although we are outside their cells we suffer each hour and second, our pain is unspeakable and our anguish can't be expressed
All these hurtful years that deprive Noran from her father's love are still not enough for Houthis to release Tawfeek. They have destroyed the spirit of children, wife and mother. They even killed Noran's hope to meet her father living in prisons full of the abductees' outcries and moaning
